North Texas Addiction Counseling & Education, Inc. is holding International Overdose Awareness Day on August 31, 2021, at 6:30 pm., with a candlelight vigil. International Overdose Awareness Day is an opportunity to remember loved ones lost to overdose. Our message is simple - the tragedy of overdose death is preventable and more must be done to save lives. Help us as we remember those who we have lost. Celebrate those lives during our Candlelight Vigil, which will start promptly at dusk. Memorials and vigil events help us remember our lost loved ones, share stories, and bring people together. This is also a good way to provide information to the community about symptoms, prevention, and education including overdose awareness and prevention training. We would be honored if you would participate in this event with us. My personal hope is to educate our community and share knowledge regarding overdose prevention. NTACE would like to invite you to participate with us.
